Creative Thinking Week
14th - 18th October 2024
The Global Institute of Creative Thinking (GIOCT) International Creativity Week invites educators, school leaders, policymakers, and change makers from around the globe to explore the transformative power of creativity in education.
The Week aims to provide a platform for educators to connect, collaborate, learn, become inspired and innovate in a global movement of creative empowerment in education.
Creative Postcards
We’re excited to grow global connections among schools during GIOCT International Creative Thinking Week through our Creative Postcards initiative.
Schools can contribute to our digital Creative Thinking Map by sharing postcards that showcase their learners innovative ideas and creative problem solving.
Be part of this creative movement—let's inspire others to dream big and act bravely!
We invite you to create a digital postcard that shows:
Creative Thinking - Highlight how you nurture creativity among your students.
Innovative Projects - Showcase the hands-on projects that encourage students to think critically and creatively, solving real-world problems in imaginative ways.
On Tuesday, 15th October, as part of GIOCT International Creative Thinking Week, we will spotlight some of the incredible work of participating schools through a dynamic online experience.
This will include showcasing the Creative Postcards on our digital Creative Thinking Map, through an interactive webinar connecting teachers globally.
Don't worry if you haven't shared a postcard by then you will still have time after the launch.
What can I share on my postcard?
You and your learners can decide what story you want to share with the world. To help we have suggested two wonderful options to choose from:
1. Celebrate your creativity and innovation by sharing the amazing work you’re already doing in the classroom
2. If would like a new adventure, why not take on our Solarpunk Island experience?
