Sparks
Sparks is all about igniting imagination and encouraging learners to dream beyond limits. In this challenge, young people are asked to take an everyday problem and reimagine it through curiosity, creativity, and bold thinking. It’s a chance to explore the “what ifs” and stretch ideas into new and unexpected directions.
As they work through the challenge, learners also reflect on their personal values and what matters most to them. This deeper exploration helps them understand that innovation isn’t just about solving problems — it’s about connecting ideas to purpose. Sparks shows that when imagination meets intention, real change can begin.

Joy in a Box
Joy in a Box asks a simple but powerful question: What if we measured success by how often we made people smile? In this challenge, learners use creative thinking to transform a disused phone box into something unexpected, a joyful idea designed to brighten lives and spark connection in their community.
As the challenge unfolds, learners explore how a single moment of joy can spark meaningful innovation. Through collaboration, imagination and empathy, they discover how creative ideas can have a lasting real world impact, showing that innovation does not always start with technology but with a simple human need.

Snack to the Future
Snack to the Future challenges learners to think like food innovators, reimagining what we eat and why. From unexpected flavour mashups to bold new ingredients, they will create a snack that surprises, delights, and pushes boundaries, all while considering the tastes, trends, and values shaping our future food culture.
As they develop their ideas, learners will also design a campaign to bring their concept to life, exploring how creativity, storytelling and innovation can turn a curious idea into something truly craveable. This challenge is a playful and powerful way to explore how big change can start with something as small as a snack.
